London Youth Orchestra

The new London Youth Orchestra is an exciting project that offers an opportunity for young instrumentalists from all over London to meet on a weekly basis. In collaboration with Verdandi Camerata and the London Russian Music Academy, the orchestra will prepare thrilling programmes for performance at a high level in prestigious venues.

Participants are required to be of a level equivalent to Grade 6 or above and demonstrate exceptional musical passion and ability.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Age: There is no lower age limit, upper limit is 17.

Ability: equivalent of grade 6+

Audition requirement: 2 contrasting pieces to be prepared, sight reading and a short interview.

Audition dates: once a year audition, date to be announced after the application deadline.

Rehearsal day:

Mondays 6:30pm-8:30pm, term time. Starting April 2020
